What do you need to connect the GLS courier to Poleepo?
To connect, create labels and manage GLS shipments via Poleepo you need a GLS contract with the shipper.
Setting up the account requires you to enter the data that will be provided by GLS at the time of signing the contract and will be used for communication via API with their platform. To use this type of integration you must request free activation for the Web Integrated Labeling Service from your GLS contact .
If you do not have a scheduled collection and need to book collections manually, you will need to enter your GLS website login credentials (they are different from the WebLabeling service login credentials). If you do not remember your login details, you can recover them by going to the following link: https://www.gls-italy.com/it/recupero-credenziali?firstspirit=5
If you create a waybill and the address has some information that is incorrect or not present in the GLS systems, you will receive an error and will not be able to create it.
Also ask to set the Discard Numbering field with a value equal to “S”. This will be used to create the label even if the GLS street directory does not recognize a location or address.
When the Web Integrated Labeling Service is active, a new menu “Integrated Labeling” will be present in your GLS Weblabeling account. This new menu will contain shipments generated by Poleepo.

Automatic confirmation
By enabling this option, when printing a shipment label it will be immediately and automatically confirmed on GLS. If you make a mistake in creating the shipment you will have to manage it on the GLS platform.
