Use cases for updating personal data

This guide lists all the steps needed to proceed with the specific update of one or more fields related to your products.

We will proceed with three use cases as examples: updating the quantity , updating the purchase price , updating the quantity and purchase price for single products, mentioning, where applicable, the procedural differences for variant products and products associated with an external supply.

  1. Quantity Update

  • Upload the file containing the products and information to be updated, taking care to select the correct separator and text delimiter (if present). Then click on Analyze

  • proceed with the mapping of the columns relating to the product identifier (SKU) and the columns containing the information to be updated (in this case Quantity). It is advisable to upload a file containing only the columns concerned.

For products with variants, map only the variant SKU, not the parent SKU.

In the case of products associated with an external supply, map the EAN and supplier SKU, which in this case are unique identifiers, while the SKUs may not coincide .

  • In the Quantity section, set the correct behavior based on the result you want to obtain (we recommend inserting these options in the case of products associated with your internal warehouse) .
