Configure FedEx

Premise

To set up FedEx on Poleepo you must already have an active FedEx account.

Get to FedEx Setup

Go to FedEx Setup > Integrations > Carriers and click on the FedEx box .

Configure FedEx

To create the FedEx configuration on Poleepo you will first have to give a name to the configuration, then you will have to read the FedEx terms and conditions, accept the terms of the FedEx user license , by checking the option and click on " create configuration"

You will then need to enter the information you already entered when creating your account in your FedEx area.

NB: the following information must match the data entered in your FedEx reserved area when you created your account, otherwise it will not be valid for configuration on Poleepo.

Having said this, enter:

  • Your account number

  • Customer name

  • Residential address

  • Address 1

  • Address 2 (if any)

  • City

  • Province (present)

  • CAP

  • Country (2 Characters - ISO Code 2)

Then click on " continue ".

Next you will need to validate your FedEx account by choosing

  • between validation via a FedEx invoice no older than 6 months;

- in this case you will have to enter the invoice number

- the invoice date

-the amount of the invoice

-the currency of the invoice

Enter this information and click " Verify Configuration "

  • or validation via security code (in this case you can choose to receive the code via email , SMS or voice call .

NB The authentication code will be delivered to the email address or number provided during registration on the FedEx website.

Then enter the security code you just received via one of the chosen validation systems and click "verify configuration".

After FedEx has approved the authentication step, you can continue with the setup by entering the following information:

  • FedEx Configuration Name

  • FedEx Account Number

  • Default print type (PDF or Zebra)

  • Payment Type

  • Choose whether to enable ETD (Electronic Trade Document) management, i.e. the electronic commercial documents that accompany international shipments and serve to facilitate the transport and customs clearance of goods.

    NB ETD management is not available for bulk operations.

  • Then add national and international shipping services.

Pickup booking

Then enter the information relating to the collection, indicating whether you already have a scheduled collection or enter the opening and closing times in the morning and afternoon,

time of availability of the goods and time of collection.

Save and enable the configuration

Finally, click on the save button at the bottom and enable the configuration via the Flag at the top right.

You can also choose to set FedEx as your default carrier by turning on the star next to the enable button.
