Below is a guide to creating variant attributes for a product. Let's take as an example a product available in different colors. It is important to remember that the order of values will be respected during publication on the sales channels that allow it.
Let's create the "Main Color" attribute with the values "Red, Green, Blue".
Click on the button: “Create Attribute”
In the “Attribute” field , enter the name of the attribute you want to create (e.g. Color)
You can choose between the types (standard or size)
Add the first value for the attribute by clicking on the “Add value” button
Enter the name of the attribute value (e.g. Red)
Add a new value by clicking on the “Add value” button again (e.g. Green)
To use the newly saved attribute when creating a product with variants, see the section: “ Creating products with variants ”
Add, edit and sort values in an existing attribute list.
Identify the attribute to which you want to add or change values. You can also search for the attribute in the “Smart Search” field at the top left.
Click on the pencil icon in the “Edit Attribute” column
To add a value, click on the “Add value” button
You can also translate an attribute by clicking on the flag icon next to it and choosing between the languages you want it to be translated into.
To delete a value, click on the trash can icon to the right of the value. (You cannot delete a value if it is associated with an existing product)
To sort the values, drag the value and move it to the position you want. Prioritize from top to bottom.
You can change the value and attribute name directly in the appropriate fields.
(ATTENTION! By saving the changes to the name of the variants, the eBay offers will be closed and regenerated as new listings. This involves the loss of the history of the old listings.)
