Creating a new product package
If you need to create a package of products that can be sold in a single publication, follow the path Menu > Products > New Package
Associating items with the product package
In the first tab displayed you must indicate the individual products to be included in the package. You can search by SKU, EAN or item name. In addition to the product, it must be indicated how many units this must be included in the package.
Remember that the individual products that you want to include in the new package must already be present on Poleepo.
If you want to bundle products with variants, you will need to create a separate bundle for each variant of that product.
If the product you want to include in the package is not yet present on Poleepo, follow this guide .
Product package information
The second tab displayed contains the fields to fill in relating to the main information of the package:
SKU: Internal code of the package, if it is not entered, a Sku will be created automatically.
BARCODE: EAN format barcode (13 digits)
MPN: Unique manufacturer code
NAME: Package name
BRAND: Package brand
WEIGHT: Package weight
DIMENSIONS: The dimensions of the package in centimeters
SHORT DESCRIPTION: A brief description of the package
LONG DESCRIPTION: Long description of the package
The price of the package and the category to which it belongs must be indicated in the subsequent tabs and images relating to the package must be uploaded .
Product package inventory
The package stock will be calculated using an intelligent algorithm that will take 2 factors into consideration:
The units associated with the package
The available quantities of individual products
We will then calculate how many times the quantities of individual products will be able to satisfy the request for the units associated with the package. If the quantities of one of the products associated with the package do not cover the request for associated units, the stock will be 0.
Scale of quantities when selling the product package
When selling a package, the quantities will be deducted directly from the individual products, respecting the previously associated units. The stock of the package will then be recalculated based on the new quantities of the individual products.
