Programming a configuration

Create and update your products automatically

You can use the “Scheduling” functionality if you need to schedule the creation or updating of your products directly from a remote csv file (Ex: updating a supplier's quantities).

To use this functionality, reach the "Programming" page by following the path:
Menu > Catalogs > Personal data > Programming

Automatic scheduling of csv operations

Available operations:

  • Activate or deactivate the programming by clicking on the switch corresponding to the programming.

  • Click on the name of the program to enter the modification.

  • Click on the “New Programming” button at the top right to start the configuration.

Configure the schedule

By clicking on the "New programming" button, a window will open that will allow you to set the information necessary to program product creation/update operations.

In the “Schedule Name” field , enter a name for the schedule you are creating.

In the " Select configuration " drop-down menu , choose one of the existing configurations created previously.

If you need a new configuration, you can create it by clicking on the "New configuration" button (Refer to THIS guide for creation)

In the “Import mode” field you can select the source of the file to be processed.

  • HTTP address – Enter the URL of the remote file (Ex: https://iltuofornitore.com/public/formazione.csv )

  • FTP Server – Enter the access credentials for the folder from which to retrieve the file. You will need the following data: Server Host, Username, Password, File Path

  • SFTP Server – Enter the access credentials for the folder from which to recover the file. You will need the following data: Server Host, Username, Password, Communication Port, File Path

In the “Update Schedule” section you can choose to:

  • Program it with a pre-established hourly frequency (1 hour, 2 hours, etc.) specifying the start time of operations and the end time of operations.

  • Schedule it once a day starting from a specific time, for every day or on a specific day.

  • Program it weekly, choosing the day and time.

On/off

Use this switch to save programming in an immediately active or inactive state.
