Before Importing Products from Shopify

Before you import products from Shopify and start managing them from Poleepo , you must first associate your site's categories with those on Poleepo.

You have two ways to do this:

  • by importing the categories (collections on Shopify), in this case they will be created on Poleepo and automatically associated with the ecommerce.

  • manually associating Shopify categories with those on Poleepo.

For further information on this operation, we invite you to read the specific article:

Thanks to this step you will give Poleepo the possibility to publish your products in the right categories of your e-commerce.

If this step is not performed, the products will be listed as "uncategorized".

NB If you manage dynamic collections on Shopify, you will not need to map the categories, but you can proceed directly with the import of the products.

You will find all imported products in the Products > Your products section , and a report on the completed operation will also be available in the Reports > Sales channels > Import section .
