Requirements
Choose the right pricing plan on Shopify: to get the most out of Shopify on Poleepo, it is recommended that you subscribe to one of the pricing plans available on this page https://www.shopify.com/it/prizzi , other than the Basic pricing plan, which will not allow you to download PII (personally identifiable information).
Setup : To set up Shopify, you'll need to enter your site URL and access token . You'll be able to access this information after creating the Poleepo app in your Shopify site's admin panel.
Where can I find the plugin that handles the marking?
Shopify has a native plugin for managing cash on delivery (COD) payments .
You can activate it by accessing the admin panel and clicking Settings > Payments > Manual Payment Methods .
What should I do if I changed my Shopify site?
If you have changed your SHOPIFY site, you must delete the existing configuration and all the SHOPIFY-related information present on Poleepo (Products, attributes, categories, etc.).
Once this is done, you can recreate the configuration with the new site's data and proceed with importing the products.
To delete the current configuration and all SHOPIFY products present on the platform, press the "delete configuration" button.
Shopify POS
If you use Shopify POS, the free app for loading goods sold in your physical store from your Shopify site, remember that for correct inventory downloading on Poleepo you will need to:
Log in to your Shopify POS app
Click on Menu > Settings > Evasion
Disable the “Mark orders as fulfilled” option
What do I need to do to manage product taxation?
To import orders with the corresponding tax (e.g., VAT 22 on the lines), you need to configure taxes on the Shopify site.
From your Shopify admin, open Settings > Taxes and Duties.
In the Countries/Regions section, select European Union.
In the VAT on sales within the European Union section, click Collect VAT.
Select the VAT registration type according to your store.
Complete the registration process by entering your VAT number. For more information, see the online manual at https://help.shopify.com/it/manual/taxes/eu/eu-tax-setup .

Log in to your Shopify store's admin panel
3. Click on “ develop App ”, at the top
4. Click on " Develop app in the dev dashboard "
5. Click on “ Create app ”
6. Enter Poleepo as the App name and click " create "
7. Scroll down and paste the following URL into the APP URL field
NB You will also need to uncheck the "embed the app in your Shopify admin" checkbox.
8. Scroll down to the " Access - Scopes " section and paste the complete list of permissions shown below:

9. In the "Redirect URL" section, paste the following URL:
10. Then click on " release " at the top right, a tab will open where you will have to click on "release" again, leaving the optional information blank.
11. By logging back into the "settings" section, copy the generated credentials - Client ID and Client Secret
NB: Remember that this is sensitive information that you will only be able to see once in this section, so we recommend copying it into a notebook and keeping it safe.
12. Go back to Apps in the left menu and click on the name you gave to the app you just created.

14. In the next screen that opens, select your store

16. In the next screen, enter the Client ID and Client Secret you previously saved and click " Install ".

Enter your configuration data on Poleepo
Reach Shopify by opening the drop-down menu on the left and clicking on Settings > Sales Channels
Poleepo allows you to create two distinct Shopify configurations. If your plan doesn't support this, contact a Poleepo representative for more details.
Enter the credentials generated from your Shopify account using the steps described above.
Enter the site URL generated previously in your Shopify personal area. The URL displayed when you log in to the admin panel of your Shopify store (usually ends with “[…] myshopify.com”) by going to settings > domains.

Then click on "verify configuration"
Save and enable the configuration
After you have verified the configuration, save it and enable it via the flag in the top right corner

Shopify setup options
After enabling Shopify setup , you can manage the other setup fields.
In the “Cash on Delivery Plugin Name” field: If your e-commerce site handles Cash on Delivery orders on Shopify, enter the name of the plugin you use here.
Shopify has a native plugin for managing cash on delivery (COD) called "Cash on delivery (COD)." You can activate it by logging into your admin panel and clicking Settings > Payments > Manual Payment Methods.
Enable product master data update (Title, description, image, and category data will not be passed in update calls to Shopify if this flag is disabled. To do so, simply select it during configuration).
Enable Product Sync - Enabling or disabling this option will determine whether or not updates about your Shopify products or offers will be sent.
Click the “ Enable Order Download ” switch to allow Poleepo to download your orders from Shopify and manage them immediately.
Category Management
Site category management
By clicking on the " Manage Categories " button you can create, edit, or delete an existing category on the Shopify site.
Before Importing Products from Shopify
Before you import products from Shopify and start managing them from Poleepo , you must first associate your site's categories with those in Poleepo.
You have two ways to do this:
by importing the categories (collections on Shopify), in this case they will be created on Poleepo and automatically associated with the e-commerce.
by manually associating Shopify categories with those present on Poleepo.

By doing this, you'll give Poleepo the ability to list your products in the right categories on your e-commerce site.
If this step is not performed, the products will be listed as "uncategorized".
NB If you manage dynamic collections on Shopify, you will not need to map the categories, but you can proceed directly with importing the products.
Prepare Shopify products for import
Before proceeding with the import, you need to check if the products on your site do not have duplicate information (e.g. same EAN – barcode on multiple products)
Product Verification
Click the "Verify Products"
button . Your products will be Poleepo will generate an Excel file containing the details and send it to the email address you entered during setup.
Download Report
Clicking this button will download your latest product audit report.
Import Shopify products
By clicking the "Import Products" button , all the products not currently managed by Poleepo will be imported from your Shopify site. The duration of this process depends on the number of products in your Shopify store.
You will find all imported products in the Products > Your Products section , and a report on the completed operation will also be available in the Reports > Sales Channels > Import section .
