Supported versions

The current supported versions of Woordpress and WooCommerce are minimum versions for which subsequent versions will also be supported.

Basic settings – Rates (VAT)

Configure WooCommerce – For Woocommerce to function correctly on Poleepo, taxes must be enabled on your site.
If they are not enabled, you must change the woocommerce settings as follows:

  1. Enable taxes on Woocomerce by following the path: Woocommerce > Settings > and identify the General Options section on the page. Then check the “Enable tax rates and calculations” box and then save .

  2. Click on the "Taxes" tab located at the top of the section and select the " Yes, I will enter prices including taxes" box. If you intend to manage multiple rates (E.g. 0%, 4%, 10%) add the name of the taxes to be created in the "Additional tax rates" field (One per line).
    Example :
    VAT 0%
    VAT 4%
    VAT 10%
+++ ATTENTION+++: The “Yes, I will enter the prices including taxes” option cannot be modified after importing the products onto Poleepo.
    If
you intend to change the method of entering the prices excluding taxes contact our support at:
    [email protected]

Save the changes and then click on the “Standard rates” item at the top of the screen .

  3. In the “Standard” tax rates section , create your first rate by clicking on the “Insert row ”
    button

  4. Fill in the newly created line by entering the data for country code (IT) and the percentage for your rate.
    Save your changes .

  5. If you need to apply multiple rates to your products (e.g. 0%, 4%, 10%) repeat the operation for each rate created by clicking on the link of the relevant rates and filling in the tables as for the standard rate, changing the value as a percentage of the rates.
Once the operation is complete, save the changes to the rate table .

  6. Make sure the tax rates you create are correctly associated with your products. By default, after you create your rate rules, Woocommerce maps all products to the standard rate.
If you have created more than one rate (e.g. 0%, 4%, 10%, 20%) you will have to associate the correct rates with the products on woocommerce.

REST API keys

To configure WooCommerce, the insertion of two API keys, "User Key" and " Hidden User" and the URL of your website are required, which are essential for Poleepo to communicate with your e-commerce.

How can I generate REST API keys?

To create the required keys, simply access the administrative panel of your site, click on the "WooCommerce" item in the side menu and in the submenu that appears click on the "Settings" item .

Once the "Settings" window is open on the right, click on the "Advanced" label then on the "REST API" link and then click on the "Add key" button

In the next window, enter the text "Poleepo" in the "Description" field , in the "User" field below leave the user selected by default from the site and in the "Permissions" field select "Read/Write" .
Once you have completed the fields, click on the “Generate API Key” button

You will be taken back to a new "Key Details" page where you will see the newly generated key, you will see two labels called "User Key" and " Hidden User " which you will have to copy, using the appropriate button on the right of the label, to within the fields indicated with the same name in Poleepo.

+++ATTENTION+++: In the API-REST section the “API Legacy” option must not be enabled

Category mapping

Before you start managing your WooCommerce site from Poleepo you need to configure the categories.
Thanks to this step you will give Poleepo the opportunity to publish your products in the right categories of your e-commerce so as to increase the visibility of your products and your sales.

Manual Mapping:

Set up and configure Woocommerce on Poleepo, cloud management software for your multi-channel online sales.

To map a category of your e-commerce with a Poleepo category, select "Categories of your E-commerce" in the box on the left and associate it with a Poleepo category in the " Search Poleepo Categories" box. As in THIS VIDEO.

Automatic Mapping:

To automatically map the categories, you can click the button: “Start automatic association” .

In this case, we will try to make an automatic association between the categories of your e-commerce site with those of Poleepo.
If your e-commerce contains many categories, this operation may take some time.
To view the mapping progress, click the “Update” button.

At the end of the automatic mapping operation, check if the mapping has been performed on all the categories, and if there are any that are not mapped, proceed manually.

Once the mapping of the categories has been completed, click on "Save this configuration" and finally enable the "Enabled" switch at the top right

You can download an Excel file of the mapped categories by clicking on the “Excel Categories” button

Import products from Woocommerce

You can synchronize the products present on your Woocommerce store on Poleepo by clicking on the "Import products" button

All products that are not currently managed by Poleepo will be imported from your Woocommerce site.
