Requirements
To set up Google Shopping on Poleepo, you need to have a Google Merchant account and an e-commerce site validated by Google via Search console or Google Analytics.
How can I become a Google Merchant seller?
Go to https://merchants.google.com/ and click on the “Get Started” button
You will be asked for information relating to your company and to indicate the reference site for the products you want to put on sale.
Once the account has been created you will have to proceed with site verification: Google will cross-reference the data entered in "Google search console" or "Google Analytics", you must therefore make sure that the domain has been claimed by the same person who created it shop Google Merchant.
Once you have created your account, remember to retrieve your merchantId , it will be present at the top right, above your email ( Numeric code ), you will need it in the next step.
Configure Google Shopping on Poleepo
Reach the Google Shopping configuration by following the path: Menu > Configuration > Sales channels
In the “Comparatives” section click on the “Google Shopping” item
Click on the “Configure” button .
Log in to Google merchant by entering your credentials. You will be asked to authorize Poleepo to use your account.
Once logged in, retrieve and copy your account ID from your Google Merchant account
( Your account ID is located at the top of the page, as in the following image)
Go back to the Google shopping configuration on Poleepo
Enter the code of your Google Shopping account previously retrieved in the " MerchantId " field
Select the e-commerce site to which you connected Google Merchant during account setup.
Click the “Enabled” switch at the top right to enable the configuration.
Save the configuration
Click on the "Save" button at the bottom right to save the Google Shopping configuration and start publishing your products.
Remember that, to be published on Google shopping, your products must also be published on your e-commerce site.
Importing Google Shopping products
You can synchronize the products present on your Google Merchant on Poleepo by clicking on the "Import products" button.
All products that are currently not yet managed on Poleepo will be imported. For products that are already present, on the other hand, the Google Shopping publication will also be displayed active in the product tab. The duration of this operation depends on the number of products on your store.
