Introduction: What is Mexal?

Mexal is the ERP management software from the Passepartout suite , used by thousands of Italian companies to manage accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, and electronic invoicing .
Its flexibility makes it ideal for SMEs and businesses requiring advanced management of items, price lists, and tax documents.

What does the Poleepo - Passepartout Mexal integration allow?

The integration app allows for two-way data exchange between Poleepo and Mexal via API.

What are the benefits for users?

  • Automation : No more manual entry of orders or items.

  • Error reduction : constant alignment between catalog and orders on Poleepo and Mexal.

  • Efficiency : Automatically scheduled synchronizations.

  • Scalability : Ideal for companies that handle large volumes of items and orders.

  • Flexibility : multi-warehouse management, multiple price lists, variants, sample items.

Where can I download the integration app?

You can download the integration app directly from the Passepartout store:

Technical configuration

On Poleepo: to generate the API keys needed for communication between the platform and the Passepartout Mexal management system

Follow the path Settings > API

Click on "Create Key":

In this section you can create login credentials for applications external to Poleepo, in this case Passepartout- Mexal.

  • Choose the name of the key and the email address of the technical contact that our support can contact in case of need.

  • Next, choose the permissions you want to give the key: no access , read access , or write access to orders, products, or shipments.

  • Finally click on save

Two API keys will be generated, one public and one secret, which you must save and safeguard. These credentials will need to be copied and entered into Mexal to enable communication with Poleepo.

Before entering your credentials on Mexal, remember to enable the key you just created using the flag on the right.

Your Mexal:

Once the credentials have been generated by Poleepo, they will need to be entered into Mexal.

To proceed with the configuration on Mexal:

  1. Go to Services > Apps (X) > Poleepo

  2. Enter Platform Url, Client Id and Client Secret

  3. Configure item correlation (SKU, MPN, Alternate Code)

  4. Set up item export rules (title, descriptions, quantity, price, warehouse, price list)
